Belt Conveyor

Belt conveyors are used for general-purpose conveyance of various materials in different distances along horizontal or inclined lines. This type of conveyor is used in nearly all sectors. The material is conveyed via a belt, which is stretched between a take-up drum and a driving drum, which is actuated by a motor-reducer system.

Type of the belt is selected as per the type of the material to be conveyed. Types, such as PVC, polyurethane, rubber, and matting can be selected. They are applicable for packed, bulk materials. It is the most commonly used type of conveyors, while their capacity is highly variable. Supports and frame of the conveyor can be manufactured from aluminum or steel, coated with electrostatic powder paint.

They can carry distributed loads of 100 kg over 1 m². In addition to economical cost, they are also advantageous in terms of time and labor. Upon request, the enclosed belt conveyors can be provided. Removal of dusts from conveyors by means of air suction means for dedusting and the design of chutes to be used inn discharge and feeding points can also be provided. Slippers, which are appropriate for the material to be conveyed and belt specifications are used.

Maintenance cost: As the components in the belt conveyor are relatively small, maintenance is easy. Spare part requirement is very limited, while they can be obtained for low price and supplied quickly.
