Belt Scales
Application Area
Single rolled belt scales are used in the applications requiring continuous flow and cumulative calculation. Some of the widespread applications are listed below:
- Total input and consumption calculations in production plants
- Listing of stored and re-used goods
- Applications requiring feed control
- Applications requiring loading limit alarming
- Systems with packaging and loading activities
- Industrial weighing applications
Standard Equipment
- Weighing module or platform which is selected according to the user rolls.
- High-safety load cells with overloading systems.
- Cable terminal box allowing sensor connection
- Complete tool set for installation.
- Wheeled speed sensors with various friction coefficients for speed measurements.
- SC-ASC96 weighing indicator
- Profi-bus communication
Working principles of BELTSUN Belt Scales
Load cells identify the amount of material which is transferred in various points of the belt. Speed sensor measures the belt speed. Current flow speed is calculated with these parameters. Total amount of the material is calculated by flow meter integration. If belt scales are not equipped with speed sensors, belt speed can not be determined. In this case, electronic weighing devices are provided or values entered as fixed parameters are used. However this method can negatively influence the accuracy and reliability.
