Weighing scale carries out the filling operation by controlling the screw feeder via AC Driver in high-speed filling mode. Screw feeders are automatically switched to low speed filling mode when the low-speed filling rate is reached. Once the amount of the material in the weighing bunker reaches 1.5 ton (90-120 sec.), PLC controlled valve is closed and filling operation is terminated. Filling mechanism is inserted in the big-bag sack by means of pneumatic cylinders in the filling unit group. With the command of the operator, the pouring, dust suction and bag blowing operations are initiated. Once the big-bag sack is full, the operator puts the cart with filled bag aside and places the one with empty bag in the filling unit. While the operator performs these actions, filling operation still continues. Filled big-bags can be forwarded to outlet stations in both directions and immediately loaded on the trucks with cranes or forklifts or transported to storage area. This feature makes the system FIRST and UNIQUE in its range. PLC keeps the filling statistics and performs automated tare and calibration checks.
