Flow Meter

Application Area

These devices are very effective means for measuring continuously flowing granular and powder materials. They are used for measuring the amount of the material coming from recovery systems, like separators in the systems where powder material, e.g. cement, gypsum, calcite is produced by means of mills. Furthermore, they have been used for the measurement of various materials, e.g. crushed coal, fly ash, raw material, fertilizer. In conclusion, SC solid material flow meters have been used for pulverized material and particulated material with a grain size up to 30 mm. to achieve the following goals:

- To determine the total amount

- Packaging

- Flow speed and material quantity determinations

Standard Equipment:

-    Steel plate enclosure

-    Guidance and measurements chutes

-    Load transfer arrangement, located outside of material room.

-    Load cell

-    Cable junction box

-    Switchboard with PLC system

Working Principle:

Measurement system with deflection channel measures the flow by using reactive power. After the material is regulated and precipitated, it is already directed towards inclined deflection and measurement channel without any impact and blow. The reactive power of the material spreading in a circular wave inside the measurement channel is detected by the load cell. In case a higher level of accuracy is required, measurements checks, which necessitate the measurement system to be calibrated can be performed without stopping the material flow. For this aim, material needs to be weighed before entering the system. Feeding silo weighing devices for on-stream calibration are also provided by you company.
