Roller Press

In cement milling process, it has been a very important improvement to employ roller press' prior to ball mills in terms of power saving and system capacity enhancements. Roller press is system which allows clinker and other additives to be crushed under the grinding and pressure force created by the two horizontal rollers and produces fine material in remarkable quantities during crushing operation. Structural cracks, which form in the crushed material, provide great convenience during the following step, where the size is reduced.


In this system, operational pressure of the rollers and feeding rate should be optimized according to the distance between the rollers, the size and hardness of the feeding material and required size reduction ratio. Besides the rotational speed and air flow of the separator which cooperates with the roller press in closed loop, should also be taken into account during the optimization of these loops.
