Ball and Vertical Mills
Ball Mill:
Ball mill is the essential unit for regrinding of materials after a coarse grinding operation. They are widely used for dry and wet grinding of cement, silicate product, new building material, refractories, fertilizer, black and non-iron metals, all kinds of ores in glass-ceramic industry and any other grindable materials.
Inner Structure of Ball Mills
Ball mill consists of horizontal cylinder, feeding and discharge hollow shaft, feeder head and other components. The cylinder is actually a cylindrical shell. There is a grinding arrangement inside the shell. The shell is made of steel and fixed with steel covering. The grinding arrangement includes generally steel balls. These steel balls are mounted inside the shell according to their sizes in different proportions. The grinding arrangement may also consists of steel structures.

Specifications
1. Instead of old type of journal bearing, full diameter rod bearing with double self-alignment is used, which reduces the friction and power consumption. In this way, it is easy to initiate the grinding mill.
2. Ball mill offers a discharge opening with a greater diameter and high production rate.
3. Feeders include a common feeder and a drum feeder, which are simple and easy to demount.
4. Ball mills include no inertia impaction and work properly by reducing the outage times in order to maintain and raise the efficiency.
